Alhamdulilah as from October 2006, electricity power supply from the national grid has now been installed at the centre and borehole also.

We have also installed solar pnels and power at the borehole, and removed the old diesel engine which was very expensive to maintain . The cost of the solar was KShs. 800,000.00, which was provided by a single donor.

One of the objectives of the institute is to enhance the earning capacity of the graduates, on completion of their respective courses. With this in mind priority is been given for the construction and equipping of the workshops which shall train the students in Carpentry, Masonry, Electrical Automotive etc. skills.

Alhamdulilah, we have completed this library and conference hall in year 2009. Our graduation cermony was held there, and the libray is well utilised by the Students and teachers alike.

Cost: Kshs. 1.7 Million 

In need to improve the living conditions and hygiene of the students, a permanent kitchen and dining hall needs to be constructed. Currently existing is a semi permanent structure that serves as both kitchen and dining hall.

Cost: Kshs. 500,000.00 (US$ 6,700.00)

The water is sourced from a nearby community borehole which is fuuly opearated by the institute. Al hamdulilah the water tower and storage tanks have been fully installed and are operational  providing essential storage facilities for the local community, Alfurqan centre and also the Maasai Cattle which draw water in the nearby water troughs.
